A little fun fact: My comic’s art style has white outlines around the foreground elements . Cold weather (during January) made it hard to draw, so I played it super safe while coloring (traditionally) . I separated the background coloring a good bit from the foreground .. Looked neat, so I kept it !

#MiscreantsComic No. 280 - Microwaving (8/4/26)

A seven-panel comic.
Flick walks into Arsenic's kitchen, holding some rocks. "You know what they say about microwaving rocks!"
Arsenic blocks the microwave defensively and exclaims, "OH no! Not after the tinfoil thing!"
Flick looks at him in a quiet disbelief.
Her smile fades, as she starts, "I mean... if you don't wanna," her demeanor shifts into one of utter despair, "... cure these rocks of their terminal illnesses..."
Arsenic quickly gets out of the way. "No-no! Go ahead," he says in a panic.
In the next panel, the two look on at a house that is totally ravaged by a too-large fire.

An edit of the original comic, replacing the dialog "Is that their hand in the free cake?" to "Is that hand-free cake?"

A seven-panel comic.
Soup focuses very hard on their index finger. Arsenic leans in to look.
Suddenly, their fingertip ignites! The two stare.
Arsenic is hit with an idea.
The two go over and wish Flo and Chloe a "Happy Birthday!"
Soup's entire hand is shoved into the side of the cake, their finger sticking out of it like a makeshift candle.
The twins whisper among themselves.
Flo comments, "Our birthday was last month..."
Chloe points out, "It's FREE cake."
Flo looks over at Soup, grinning as they hold out the cake, "Is that their hand in-"
Chloe interrupts, "-In the FREE cake?"

#MiscreantsComic No. 278 - Outside (7/30/26)

A four-panel comic, technically.
The Maulsworth family eats dinner.
Flo quietly works away at her plate, Mrs. Maulsworth talks on and on, and Mr. Maulsworth glances over at Chloe, who hasn't touched her plate at all. She seems upset.
As the mom continues talking, we see a point-of-view from the father, where Chloe fades out of existence.
It is revealed to be her walking out of the panel.
She wanders along the page, and stumbles upon her schoolteacher, reading a book. She notices Chloe and comments, "Nice place for some peace and quiet, huh?"

A lot of strips are based on ideas I’ve had, were I to make some kind of series with longer episodes . There’s a lot that happens in between .. It’s a bit of a shame that I’ll only have the time to explore it afterwards, but that’s just how it is !
