#FindsFriday. After much searching I have found my ‘digging’ shoes which means I am now all set for heading north to @vindolandatrust.bsky.social for my fortnight of searching for interesting Roman bits and pieces 🙂 fingers crossed the rain holds off for a bit!

Today’s #TinyJoys finding a sealed Morecambe &Wise The BBC Collection boxed set in a Charity Shop for £9. Naturally it came home with me!
Sunday #TinyJoys - coming downstairs still feeling groggy and sleepy and not having to think about making breakfast, just reach in the fridge and grab one of my ready made gluten free Overnight Oats from the Good Grain Company. Open jar and eat 🙂
Dropped in to Magna (Roman Army Museum) this afternoon to take a look at the ongoing excavations. They’ve got some really good walls emerging and a nice looking spoil heap. I do like a good spoil heap. #RomanFortThursday

Finally finished the RSC Raven Cushion cover (bit tricky as the kit came with the cover fully assembled!) and The Song of The Seasons is back from the Framers. All ready for the Agriculture Show Horticultural competition next month 🙂 #TinyJoys

So I’m a total failure I haven’t reversed my diabetes and as it has been pointed out to me this week that’s a failure as anyone is capable of doing it. For me the only way I’ll ever reverse it is not to eat - the only times my sugars have normal is when I don’t eat so no food from now on I guess
Well I guess that’s that then! The diabetes has won! No more coffee no more cooked breakfasts on holiday just the same bland lunch for the rest of my life 😞

Finally ticked Colchester Castle off my bucket list. Didn’t get to the Circus as it was a bit cold and drizzly and my two barbarians were sitting in the car waiting for me as the four legged one was not allowed into the Castle
