One of our intrepid Associates spotted this beastie whilst out and about. 😁 Mathilde says its definitely not modelled off a Shropshire Dragon as they are much too refined to laze about licking their nostrils. 😂 Have you been out #DragonSpotting lately? #dragonsofshropshire #dragonart #dragons

Hello DragonSpotters ☺️ Little jolly to Ludlow this week for a temporary relocation effort of Teme Tilia water dragons - to where stupid humans won't bother them. Even with all the sun bakedness this area is beautiful. #dragonsofshropshire #ludlow #landscapephotography #shropshire

Hello DragonSpotters ☺️ We've been sent this rather lovely photo of a We Don't Know Dragon! 😱 Mathilde is bamboozled & the Bookwyrms are all in a tizzy! What species is this sweetheart? Where did it come from? We love rootling through the archives! Wish us luck! #dragonsofshropshire #dragons

Hello DragonSpotters ☺️ Mathilde found her biggest Treasure to date! We all know how much she loves shiny things, and insists this counts even though its not all that shiny, or particularly pretty. Anyone know what it is? #dragonsofshropshire #treasure #Shropshire #naturewalks #friday

Hello DragonSpotters 😊 Here's the pond at HQ and our beautiful water lily. ❤️ We do enjoy watching the little birds splashing in the pond. Have you topped up your bird baths and drinking bowls today? #dragonsofshropshire #waterlily #wildlifepond #naturephotography #shropshire

*caution advised. Post has snakes* We had call about a Viper Mimic with heatstroke. Thought it weird as Viper Mimics LOVE hot weather. Turns out it wasn't a Viper Mimic, it was an actual Viper Berus 🤯 It wasnt in distress either, just happy sunning itself! #dragonsofshropshire #adder #shropshire

Hello DragonSpotters ☺️ Today we're all hiding from the heat, keeping hydrated with lots of iced tea and a 'posh' mango icecream cone. Mathilde says she'd rather have a 99 with a flake. 😂 Hope you're all keeping alright? #shropshire #dragonsofshropshire #summer2026 #icecream #friday

Hello DragonSpotters ☺️ We forgot to post yesterday so we're blaming the heat for melting our brains. 🫣 Here's Mathilde, by the pond while we top up the birdbaths and bowls. If you could put water dishes out for wildlife too, that would be grand. 😚 #dragonsofshropshire #dragons #shropshire

Hello DragonSpotters ☺️ We had a #dragonspotting outing this weekend to the Welsh coast. We saw lots of lovely red dragon cuddly plushies but no real ones. Mathilde felt sure we would meet her Welsh counterpart. Perhaps next time? . #dragonsofshropshire #dragons #pendinesands #Carmarthen
