Very excited to delivery a book talk as a part of a book launch tomorrow at 6PM at QMUL. :) It would be great to see you there or online (it will be streamed live) -- and I'm told there will be wine! Register for free here www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/book-launc...

Huge congrats to Adri Disman and Nikki Schotzko for their new publication. I have two short chapters in there and I think it's an essential buy for students and enthusiasts of performance art. I particularly appreciate their committment to have chapters on artists from across the world <3
Today, sadly, Habermas has passed. His scholarship (and the critiques of it) have been hugely influential on my work, specifically my thinking about first and second public spheres in my book. A great theoretical mind that has had a huge mark on theories of publicness in general. Rest in peace
I emerge, out of nowhere, to tell all my (currently 0) followers that I HAVE PUBLISHED A BOOK! It's beautiful, it's amazing, and I love it! It's called Abnormal Peripheries and it's about performance in the former Czechoslovakia that emerged under political pressures. GO READ IT and share this post
FIRST POST! I'm so late to this game but I just published a book and so this is as good a point to get in as any. 😅
