Guitar pickup and cymbal choices are something a lot of people overlook during the preproduction/studio set up phase. It’s amazing how much they can change the vibe of a recording. You don’t need to record with the gear you gig with.

Everything between Halloween and Marathon Monday just absolutely sucks in Boston. This is why when someone wants me to talk about their kid coming to college here that’s from further south I try to tell them to come visit in the middle of December because that’s how most of the school year is. B-sides are like the middle children of releases. Becoming increasingly more rare and forgotten. I like releasing 2 tracks at once. Gives people something extra if they like the first bite or another flavor. If you do enough of them you get to release a b-side comp later on.
