Our country asks people to serve. But, when they return from their service, many in positions of power disrespect and dishonor veterans. Any country who allows veterans to "live" unhoused, uninsured, unfed, unprotected does NOT deserve further service!

This morning, more than 1,000 New Yorkers came together for the first City-sponsored Remembrance Ruck, walking from Brooklyn to Manhattan to honor our veterans. It was an experience I will carry with me forever.

Nixon should’ve gone to prison for watergate and screwing our healthcare system after impeachment while being removed. Reagan should have gone to prison for what we now know with the Iran-Contra and hostage situation. Bush should’ve gone to prison for lying us into the Iraq war.
