senator graham was a hateful person who chose to spend his time in office punching down and diminishing the rights and freedoms of people he just didn't like very much. i celebrate his death. not to be cruel, but because it means he won't be able to hurt people anymore.

i have a special frustration towards people who ask a question and then immediately start talking so that i cannot answer their question without interrupting them.
i really do wish spacex nothing but the most spectacular failure.
this scaffold is literally the first thing that this administration has done carefully and methodically.
i know this doesn't matter to the people in power, but i have to speak up when it matters to me. this contractor should be put out of business instantly. their assets should be transferred to the tohono o'odham nation as the smallest shred of reparations. i mean just, what the fuck you guys.

a nice reminder that it's still possible for cheaters and thieves to lose.
The feds harangued Kat and my family over bullshit charges for a year. They tried to beat her down, bankrupt Kat and her codefendants through legal fees, and a defeat her spirit. They fucking lost. They will continue to lose. Fuck ICE forever. To this criminal gang of a government: stay losing.

if only there were some way for cars to, like, *indicate* that they were planning to turn to the left or the right. so that people could know about it before it happens. at 75 mph. six feet away. #newjersey
assistant stage manager to cast on stage: "do you want to take it from 'reckless endangerment?'" #theater #backstage
i just passed a guy on west 47th street casually vacuuming the sidewalk like it’s his living room. just one guy doing what he can to help, i guess.
hot take (evidently): red lights are not suggestions! #taxi
overheard in tech; the GM team discussing attire for an opening night party for a play set in a prison: "orange is the new black tie." #theater #backstage
overheard on metro north: “like… can you guys even *imagine* a place in my room for a didgeridoo? like… and it’s really hard to play. like i can’t even… like i can make a *noise* with one, but i can’t really… *play* it.”
stage door guard: morning. me: good morning! how are you? guard (100% flat affect): amazing. how are you. me: i’m ok. not amazing. guard (reassuring, but still flat) you’ll get there. #theater #backstage
our show has a dry tech scheduled, during which time we will be working on the rain effect. i appear to be the only person who finds this funny. #theater #backstage
overheard backstage... electrician: is the lift fixed? supervisor: it's, well, sort of. yes. sort of. that's the best answer. electrician: uh, if i go up, can i come back down? supervisor: yes. electrician: ah, but can i go up? supervisor: yes. electrician: great. #theater #backstage
overheard backstage “oh yeah, last year i did three shows on 45th street with water, water and fire, water and blood. then one uptown with water. yeah. banner year.” #theater #backstage
i had to park my car in a garage that offered an app for easier payment. ok fine. but then i received an email inviting me to a parking technology conference. that such a conference even exists is about as good an indictment of the modern world as i can think of.
friends i really don’t know what will work. i’m trying this. please join me. Original post: mastodon.social/@indivisible...
the time is never wrong to mention that the president, his whole cabinet, and all his advisors are horrid excuses for people who do not make acceptable use of the oxygen they breathe.
i no longer believe that it is possible to be a compassionate person without recognizing that ICE is beyond help and must be completely abolished.
