last backlog piece unless I most more angsty stuff rip, just a bit of early palace life with Kaerr and the Mairenn. They both interpret Kaerr's stay here and integration to the family weirdly for a while... #oc #art #originalcharacter #ocsky #ocart #ocs

a three panel comic. The first panel depicting Kaerr tripping, a tray with food filled bowls on it let go as they jolt surprised, Mairenn's hand tapping their head, as if seeking attention, starting to say their name.

The second panel depict Mairenn, hand brought back to herself as she winces, watching downward with reserved and unimpressed expression. A loud crash in onomatopoeia on the side of the panel.

the final panel depicts Kaerr looking up, nodding slightly, eyes wide where they kneel on the floor. Mairenn has a speech bubble reading. "... clean this up. Then if you would, go check with Neirin about those harbour plans he is approving. Understood?"

Sammy (COMMS OPEN)@sammyboiocs.bsky.social · 8mo ago

Cleaned up this wip from a bit ago with Kaerr and Neirin <3 #oc #art #originalcharacter #ocsky #ocart #ocs

Neirin curled up hunched over himself, tail wrapped around him. Kaerr is kneeling close, thrown over Neirin comforting and protective. They're both in simpler clothes.

Sammy (COMMS OPEN)@sammyboiocs.bsky.social · 8mo ago

tw discussion of abuse. References to spousal abuse and implied previous abuse. * * More uneasy lore with the winter cousins. Raised with abuse tends to make it familiar. Kaerr and Faruaill have complicated feelings about Kaerr's marriage. #oc #art #originalcharacter #ocsky #ocart #ocs

sorry folks all the backlog art I have left that I want to share is stuff I'm a bit nervous of posting / showing the more traumatic angles of my OCs. Gonna slowly post anyways but they'll be labelled as you've seen. Wish bsky had more label options rip

It could be really bad for Discord if Californians contact the office of the Attorney General to report the potential violations of CCPA and CALOPPA citing the recent breach from a few months back where 1.5tb of user data and millions of IDs were leaked, but who can say for sure?

digital illustrated reference of Mairenn, a young adult merling with a broad soft frame. She wears a long skirt and decorated bracers, and is decorated in dark chunky body jewelry. Her fins along her limbs, ears, and tail are round. Her hair is long laying in loose curls over her back. She has a vaguely concerned if not appraising expression on her face.

digital illustrated reference of Neirin, a young adult merling. He wears a tied off vest, loose pants, and a sash skirt over his hips. his fins are in a classically split fish fin shape on his tail, ears, and limbs. His hair is straight and disorderly, falling over his back, except for one section he has tied off beside one ear.

Sammy (COMMS OPEN)@sammyboiocs.bsky.social · 9mo ago

Don't think I uploaded this on its own. Love the mer sibling drama #oc #art #originalcharacter #ocsky #ocart #ocs

digital illustration depicting three merfolk young adult busts splitting the screen three ways. In the center is Neirin, glowering at the pov tiredly. Behind him in his split of the screen stretches chains from him in various colours corresponding to the themes of his mother and siblings. On the left is Taran, Neirin's brother looks concerned and uneasy, behind him lightning occupies his background. On the right is Mairenn, who looks surprised, her background depicting water depths. Lyrics are written on the screen from Crywanks song "A deer mistaking candles for headlights" read as: "Does the blank stare scare you more than the frown?"

Collection of old Bennie (+ R&J Squad) doodles. Bennie (blue) is the only character who is mine, the others belong to friends off platform. #oc #art #originalcharacter #ocsky #ocart #ocs

simple doodle of Bennie swinging around in his desk chair, leaning awkwardly to hide what is on his desk, resulting in his elbowing just about all of his research onto the floor. He looks quite sleep deprived.

a digital doodle of 5 characters split into four sections, collectively titled "every friend group got the:"

The first box depicts Marc, fed faced and cursing as he leans forward in his seat and angrily button mashes a wii remote. His box is titled "a guy who is his own bastard cousin."

The second box depicts Venetta and Malvolia sitting together on a couch. Venetta is on her phone, posing for the camera. Malvolia is holding a wii remote in one hand, her other arm reached around Venetta's shoulders to flip off Marc in the box next to them. Their box is titled "guy who isn't seeing the pearly gates."

The third box depicts Bennie girled up like a pretzel in an arm chair, a book open in his lap and a wii remote hung limply from his wrist whilst he clearly sleeps. His box is titled "guy who woul dbe the responsible one if he wasnt so damn tired all the time."

The final box depicts Flo with an arm outstretched to the camera as if holding it to take this selfie, reframing her as the photographer of the pervious boxes. She has a smug look and is holding a fruity looking beverage. Her box simply reads "alcoholic."

A coloured illustration of busts of Flo crying into her pillow and Bennie stressing out at his desk over a book. Both have their phones out, screenshots of text conversation overlayed to read:

Flo: what's up.
Bennie: About to have a mental breakdown wbu.
Flo: In the middle of a mental breakdown.

simple doodle of Flo texting "I WANT TWO BOYFRIENDS AND I WANT THE BOYFRIENDS TO BE BOYFRIENDS AND I WANT TO BE THEIR GIRLFRIEND AND I WANT THE BOYFRIENDS TO TAKE ME OUT ON LITTLE BOYFRIEND DATES WHERE WE'RE ALL BOYFRIENDS AND GIRLFRIENDS." This is a reference to a tiktok.

Flo looks up from her phone with a mischievous expression to bennie looking irritated and flustered saying "Hey! Girlie! I nee dyou to STOP."
