Marc Elias@marcelias.bsky.social · 12h agoNotice DOJ doesn't talk about its efforts to obtain state voter files anymore. They are 0-20 in those cases and today is the beginning of the quiet period -- states can no longer do systematic removals of names from the voter rolls. TLDR: We won!🥳
NOTHING makes me more mad than this. Not only because I am a proud city dweller for my entire adult life but because this is so UNSPEAKABLY unamerican, unpatriotic and divisive and hateful AND NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!!

I am convinced the real bubble is MAGA. The only way you can convince people shit like “all the protestors are paid” is if you literally don’t know a single person who opposes the admin. Not one.

I don't know what it is about las vegas that after 60 hours I am desperate to get out of there and 36 hours after that I am desperate to go back.
I've come to quite enjoy the small group I regularlly read and sometimes interact with but if this place even gets a whiff of becoming twitter 2.0 i will bounce and find another time suck.

I wrote a fun country ditty called "It's Better If We don't Talk Right Now" and honestly my biggest (only?) delusion of grandeur is I think my songs are as good as anything out there.
Every monday for the last 17 months I've driven to Encino to meet my elder-care client and support him through his day in the community and at home. I grew very fond of this man and his quirky wit and world view. He passed over the weekend. I have never been more sad to have a monday off in my life.

My biggest fear: Democrats can't mount a full throated "message" that Trump's attacks on blue states are unamerican and tantamount to an act of civil war My biggerest fear: They CAN and it doesn't matter because enough people are into it.
