Always fascinated by the number of people we can reach these days 😯 Big shout-out to everyone involved in and supporting the project, we could not do this without you! ♥️ I hope that in the future we can expand on the classroom approach: streamed workshop with local support; best of both worlds!

We are in the middle of our largest workshop ever! 🤩 ♥️ Thanks to the support of our instructors, partners, organizers, streamers, helpers, ambassadors and classroom hosts we can reach so many of you! Tomorrow we will start with week 2, looking at various topics around reproducible research.

Map showing the country of affiliation of people registered to the workshop. mainly from Nordics but also central and eastern Europe and beyond. Below graphs showing career stages, field of science and how people found out about the workshop. The majority are graduate students and researchers from computer and biological sciences that got to know via friends or own organisations mailing lists. in the bottom a word cloud of affiliated institutions highlighting technical university of Denmark, Aalto university, university of Oulu and Oslo as well as Tartu and cancer research institute.

CSC Ambassadors Meetup brought 40 ambassadors and 20 CSC experts together in Espoo to share insights and tackle common research support challenges. Stronger networks, clearer guidance on data, HPC & training, plus new joint actions ahead. 🤝 Read the blog post 🔗 csc.fi/en/news/amba...
