Thomas Tuchel had one job and he’s failed at that. But is this really on him? Do we want him to stay on? @wearetrackradio.bsky.social 📻 Chatting about it all from 10am on Track Radio - come and join us for informed chat - great guests. I’ve re-watched the game from Gordon’s goal too.

Alongside my daily appearance on @sannyr.com's show on Track Radio I'm providing daily voice notes for the drive time show and unintentionally my vocal style is becoming increasingly like the Wine Wanker (Tom Gilbey) and I'm not even sad about it 🤣

🆕🎙️ | It was a pleasure to be a guest on Track Radio again this morning on @sannyr.com’s morning show. We discussed all things Scotland at the World Cup and John McGinn - and the random fact that his dad was my English teacher in secondary school 😂.

There’s a reason some co-commentators feel dislikable and I think it comes down to how much they hammer players for errors. We can usually see it with our own eyes. We don’t need someone saying ‘it’s really poor’. Add to our understanding, not smash the nail beyond the plaster.

Heard the same interaction between Hull and Middlesbrough fans by foot, tube and train. Amicable and conciliatory. Boro sad but happy for Hull. And City supporters feeling like it’s all a dream. No aggro or goading. Just folks chatting, with a love of football in common.

Apologies for the delay, but this account is now up and running! If you like sport (all sports) and music (great music) and want a radio station for intelligent, affable chat then follow us right now. We're Britain's ONLY sports and music station.

Also, external advisors told me that Bluesky is too quiet and not worth my time, but I really believe that a lot of our natural listeners are here, quietly lurking, being nice, not wanting to make a fuss and so I'm taking this account on myself. So my credibility, such as it is, is in your hands.

Fascinated by what Guardiola will do next. A holiday, obviously. But then what? Doesn't strike me as an inty manager. Too intense. Can't see him doing PSG, not much of a challenge. Serie A seems unlikely. Would cast him as Wrexham's 'next step' manager, but I think Klopp will do that... What next?

Two weeks of TrackRadio.com daytimes complete. If you’ve tuned in, I hope you’ve found some joy being with us - sport chat and tunes! Off to a wedding - back Monday - come join us and tell your friends - much better than relying on the algorithm.

I lost my dad at the worst age. Fifteen and to be honest, I’ve never really dealt with it. We’re a few days in on Track Radio but I thought I’d share this story. On Monday, after our first show, John Inverdale took me to the game and gave me all the advice I’d ever need. I’m on Daytimes 10am-1pm.
