Jasper takes freeking forever to poop when he is outside doing his business. He searches & searches for the Perfect Poop Spot, with many side quests to borkborkbork at squirrels, check his PeeMail, scope out the neighbor’s cat & so on. “Hurry up!” Is not in his vocabulary. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Eli stays on the back steps until I have walked around the yard & can verify to him that Mr. Toad is nowhere to be found. Once he gets the AOK, he goes out, does his business & gets in some zoomies. Who would have guessed that my new job after would be being a Toad Spotter? 🤣

Alouette, Eli & Jasper are ready to guard the house from the back of the couch but also somewhat sad I’m going out to shop & can’t take them with me. I trust that they will chew up anyone who tries to break in & also be glad to see me when I get back. ❤️

My dog sitting duties ended today when my granddog TheEvilGiantDogTucker went home. When Tucker is here, he & Jasper are just like naughty bratty human siblings the way they drive each other crazy on purpose. Jasper: HUMAN! HE’S FOLLOWING ME! Tucker: Who me? Me: AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH! 🐶🐶

Eli is recovering from a terrifying encounter he had with a toad in the backyard. Mr Toad was hopping through the grass when he & Eli crossed paths. Poor Eli jumped 3 feet in the air & made it back inside the house in record time. Now he’s traumatized. I have no normal dogs. 🙄

I keep telling Alouette & Huckleberry that sharing is caring. But..Huckleberry is not willing to share his toys & Alouette is not willing to share her treats. However they are willing to share a rug to sit on to listen for the neighbor’s dogs so they have something to bork at. 🐶🐶

Jasper has become an accidental photographer! He took about 40 selfies of himself by standing on the white button on the camera on my iPhone. Most of his photos were blurry messes or photos of his left nostril, however this one is not too bad for an accidental selfie. 🤣

Impatiently waiting for their human to open the dang door to the house so they can go back to their favorite activity: napping on the couch. Bremmy, Alouette, Eli, Jasper & Huckleberry, professional hooligans. 🙄

Bremmy would like to express his belief that squirrels should not be able to run so fast AND on top of that, they should not be able to climb trees. This is unfair and when he becomes CEO of the Universe, he will sign an executive order to make all squirrels slow and earth-bound. 🐿️
