Channel 4 has announced documentary “The Great ADHD Myth?” It “seeks to determine whether ADHD is a genuine neurodevelopmental disorder, or a social construct.”

A hard pill to swallow when you’re neurodivergent is wanting to do so many things for enjoyment, but you become too overwhelmed in the process of trying to do some of those things. It can be hard when your limit is lower than you’d like it to be.

Honestly body doubling is the most effective way I found to sustain my attention with ADHD.

I’ve frequently been told that people don’t like me, but they don’t know why. Both to my face and behind my back. I’m wondering if this is a common experience among Neurodivergent people? If you’re neurodivergent too, have you experienced similar comments?

For #caturday I thought I’d share my latest cat decor purchase! I always say I have enough cat decor, but then I end up buying something else. I guess I have no limits when it comes to this 😹

One of the biggest ways I’ve been hit by the ADHD tax is lawn mowers. I struggle to keep awareness of where the wire is while mowing, and I’ve often sliced the wire with the mower without realising until after it’s happened. Anyway, I’m trying a cordless mower this time and hoping it lasts!

Since needing glasses, my latest ADHD dilemma is when I can’t remember where I placed them, but I also need to wear them to have a better chance of finding them 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Something I’ll always be grateful for is I won’t spend the rest of my life not knowing about my neurodivergence.

Some don’t understand why so many find relief when we realise we’re autistic, ADHDers, or both. I think they just see it as a label. When actually it can help us understand our experiences we didn’t have the language for before.

One of the hardest adjustments after discovering our neurodivergence in adulthood is realising how striving for “normal” is an uphill battle we were never meant to climb.
