Our new event-tagging approach may improve memory performance in older adults. However, cognitive aging is idiosyncratic, and likewise, memory interventions are not one-size-fits-all. We’re continuing to investigate who can benefit from this approach and why, with the goal of extending its reach.

Thrilled to share this work now published in Cerebral Cortex! doi.org/10.1093/cerc... We apply Greedy State Boundary Search in EEG to identify neural state boundaries and show that the degree of shift, but not their temporal synchrony, predicts memory performance in both older and younger adults.
