Hey, hey it’s Monday that wonderful day where we celebrate all the small to big wins with everything in between. I have had a bit of a tumultuous week personally and my win is that I can have the door open today & that there is some sun. What’s yours?

Hey, hey it’s Monday that great day of the week where we celebrate all small to big wins with everything in between. Mine is I want to thank everyone that donated, reposted etc and supported Ash and I for her to play for NZ. I am so humbled by the support & you should all win medals! What’s yours?

Hi team, I just got the bill for Ash to go with the NZU18 water polo team to Melbourne in September. I realise that times are tough at the moment so if you are able to help would love the support. Instructions for payment are in the note picture, she has worked incredible hard for this. Thank you x

Hey, hey it's Monday that wonderful day of the week where we celebrate all the small to big wins with everything in between. I already shared our families big news but Ash made the NZU18 team (as a 15 year old) last week for Aussie state Champs. What's yours?

We have very exciting news to share, Ash was named today in the National U18 team for Australian State Champs. I'm really proud of her for trialling for this team after the disappointment of missing out on World Champs, having the resilience to keep on keeping on. She's stoked.

Hey, hey it’s Monday that wonderful day when we celebrate all the small to big wins with everything in between. Mine is that last week has been hectic & anxiety inducing but being able to watch the commonwealth Games celebrations has made things a bit better. What’s yours?

Decisions that Luxon and Willis have made with their government have absolutely had an effect on businesses. To say that we shouldn't be looking to government when their decisions directly impact business is ludicrous. The latest hit to income in Wellington is the eye watering water bills.

And as a business owner in Wellington who has been affected by public sector layoffs and people leaving the region, I am really really concerned about the water bills that people have just been sent. They are the equivalent for some households of swimming lessons for their kids for a year for a 1/4.

Luxon’s latest jibes at small business owners that we need to be “adults” about our businesses & radically retool etc. How do you find 300 extra kids a term we lost when they have moved out of your area & can’t afford your product with all the job losses in our region? What money bro?

Been watching a tonne of sports coverage of the games and it has been so striking to me how much resilience these athletes have had to have. Most have stories of a younger them having been told they weren't good enough, bullied etc. Is this a uniquely NZ problem or sport as a whole?

Hey, hey it's Monday that wonderful day of the week where we celebrate all the small to big wins with everything in between. Mine is that the first week of term went better than expected, I was having a few anxious moments about getting it all done. What's yours?

My Facebook memory today was Ash at 6 months old wearing one of the water polo caps, she wanted to wear it I think to look like the girls. Then 15 years later having just finished U18 nationals. Time absolutely flys and you don’t know what the story is going to be.

Hey, hey it’s Monday that great day of the week where we celebrate everything that is good, small to big wins with all in between. My win is that our team came 5th at U18 nationals, our highest placing in 12 years. This is Ash scoring against Queensland. What’s yours?

We beat Queensland state at U18 nationals with 1 second to go to get our highest placing in 12 years after losing our goalie to concussion and having to put a field player in goal for the whole game. 1 bloody second.

Hey, Hey it's Monday that wonderful day of the week where we celebrate all the small to big wins with everything in between. Mine is that my team in the weekend had some shitty situations occur & the culture of the team meant they supported everyone in the team at different times. What's yours?

Hey, Hey it's Monday that wonderful day of the week when we celebrate all that is good, small to big wins. Mine is that Ash had a massive knock by being dropped from the World Champs team for her age group, she has just been selected for the U17 NZ squad of 21. What's yours?

Daily I cross at a pedestrian crossing on the Petone foreshore with my dogs, daily I almost get hit at least 1 of the 2 crossings. Today after 8 cars didn't stop, I stepped out & copped abuse for stepping out. I told him that I wouldn't move until he shut up, we both sat there for 5 mins. FML

Hey, hey it's Monday that great day of the week where we celebrate all the small to big wins with everything in between. Mine is weather cancelled Ash and I out of the national league division 2 finals which we are gutted about. 8 players managed to get there & won the bronze! What's yours?

It’s been a day today trying to get to water polo nationals away from home, climate change is real and disruptive. At the airport at 5am all flights cancelled today and wasn’t able to get to it because next available flight is Sunday. It’s our 4th big storm in 6 months in Wellington.

Hey, Hey its Monday that wonderful day where we celebrate everything that is good with all the small to big wins with everything in between. Mine is that Ash and I spent a good weekend together as she had a trial in Auckland, it was just really nice after a fraught month. What's yours?

Hey, hey it’s Monday that wonderful day of the week where we celebrate all the small to big wins with everything in between. Mine is that we went shopping for a ball dress for Ash and found a beautiful one that was also on sale (bonus!). What’s yours?

Another Thursday that we can’t cover for staff sickness, would anyone be able to work for us tomorrow at Miramar North School teaching from 9.30-12.30? It’s school kids from learning to float level through to full length breathing classes. Or would know of someone that may want some work?

Hey hey it’s Monday that wonderful day of the week when we celebrate all the small to big wins with everything in between. Mine is that after the big disappointment of missing out on world champs, Ash has been able to join back into the 1st Eleven football team & has loved it. What’s yours?

I'm having difficulties with staffing, it's been a continual issue for the past year. I am 22 hours short of staff for Term 3 even though I had hired another 4 staff members! I have a 5 day a week job for 22 hours at a minimum, does anyone know of anyone who is a swim instructor looking for a job?

Hey, hey it’s Monday that wonderful day of the week where we celebrate all the small to big wins in between. My win is that we have been navigating disappointing news for Ash and she this weekend took to the water again and played very well despite her feelings. What’s yours?
