Me: trying to help someone figure out how long it will take to get somewhere on Staten Island from Manhattan using public transit Google Maps: what if, with no explanation, I give you directions without using the Staten Island Ferry! lol Felt like I was having a stroke...

I've got an eczema-related finger split right on the pad of my right forefinger which is really cutting down on my doomscrolling the last couple days. 😬
Did you ever get a migraine out of nowhere for absolutely no reason whatsoever? Asking for a friend who's a turtle with headphones
Now if there's anyone you should trust to sell you on a data center, it's (checks notes) the criminal ex-mayor of New York City, who did a crypto rug pull the minute he was out of office.... Eric Adams. Who the hell spent money hiring this guy 😆
This past weekend, former Mayor Eric Adams was in Wisconsin Rapids—population 18,654—trying to convince residents that they should allow a real estate developer to build a data center in the heart of their town. The public hearing did not go well. hellgatenyc.com/eric-adams-i...
I'm going to gently suggest that some of my friends here need to use more curated lists and get off the algorithm/discovery feed because I'm seeing literally none of this "discourse" y'all are upset about. 😵💫 The algorithm is full of ragebait and is not your friend. ❤️
I was lounging in bed since I'm having a bad pain day, but I guess I'll get up since the UNFI truck is honking the giant truck horn incessantly until a van moves out of the bus stop so that the truck can park in the bus stop 😵💫 The truck is now idling and double parking in the bike lane.
Having one of those brain fog days. 1. Tried to turn off the light at 3PM when the room was bright because of the sun and the light hadn't been on all day 2. Tried to turn off my noise cancelling headphones and discovered the noise cancellation hadn't been on for the last 90 minutes *sigh*

Good news we've whittled it down to three chronic illnesses flaring up
Celebrating Disability Pride Month with a simultaneous flare-up of four chronic illnesses. *crawling into bed*
The downside of having a trendy mayor everyone loves is that rich idiots are going to start doing stuff like: living here in order to commute to Pennsylvania by helicopter 🙄
so much for billionaires fleeing because of zohran
Me: goes outside for some fresh air on a perfect summer evening, 72F and low humidity Also me: this is literally unbearable and causing me physical pain Apparently this migraine is still working its magic 😅

Truly unbelievable. They want to ban vaccines, which have been through clinical trials on thousands and thousands of people. And they are approving sale of these new drugs which have had NO trials on ANY human beings. NONE. After appointing people who sell these very same drugs to the board. 💀
FDA Panel Supports Lifting Restrictions on Four Peptides (Gift Article)
In an all-day hearing, the agency’s scientists argued against allowing broad access to unproven drugs that the agency had banned three years ago.

Y'all would tell me if there was something horrific happening in my neighborhood, right? 👀 *nervously looking out window at a hovering police helicopter and swarm of police cars* We good, fam??
Thursday might just be an easy one... I think the 🦒 Long Boy is a new one for me, lol. I also submitted the word lede. C'mon John, help the publishing industry out! 😅 hankgreen.com/smush · Jul 23 870 pts · PERFECT 💯 🥞🥞🥞 🥞⭐🥞 🥞🥞🥞
There's a tornado watch and a flood watch and I've got concert tickets with friends tonight. 🙃 On the plus side, a basement jazz club is pretty safe from tornadoes. On the minus side, not so great for flooding...
According to polls, Canada is VASTLY more popular among the American people than the current president. Or the previous president. Or the one before that. You even have a higher favorability poll rating than Dolly Parton. Just saying. We love y'all. F this nutjob.

After hell week, I would like to invite you to take a deep sniff of that sweet, pure, NYC air. 👃 The skies are blue and it's 76F. Ahhhh. (covers tomorrow's weather forecast so you can't see it) Aaaahhhhhh so good!!
🥳 It is not hazardous to go out the side!!! Time to clear the gunk from my asthmatic airway and see if my shoes have dried from the three minutes I went out last night 😅
Sunday's Weather Rating: 7/10 What a change! Partly cloudy skies, with much lower humidity and no wildfire smoke. High temperatures reach the lower 80s during the afternoon. Dew points are still kinda high early on, but the vibes are much improved!!
I've set a record for shortest daily walk 😭 The AQI dropped and there was a break in the storm so I popped outside for a walk. Radar showed zero rain over me and nothing for a while. Within 60 seconds it was absolute TORRENTIAL downpour. Immediately soaked even with an umbrella. Turn it around! ↪️🐢🏠
All right. I'll let the oversight slide this time. 😅
Neither is "muppet." This entire puzzle is a sham!
HECK yeah, the stories are in the comments. Read the frick out of them and then share them. Please.
Yesterday, WIRED learned that Madison Square Garden was suing us for our accurate reporting. We stand by our work. That’s why we’re removing the paywall from two of the MSG stories they don’t want you to read, making them free for everyone.
Has anyone else's internal monologue of positive self talk immediately switched over to "You got this, Mama" after watching @secretsleepoversociety.com this week? 😂
In April, we published our first story about the surveillance machine at Madison Square Garden—an operation that allegedly tracked a trans woman, lawyers, protesters, and more. Read that here:

I've got two HEPA filters running in my small apartment and it's still bothering me a little. Not gonna be a great day. Think I am going to have to break my "take a walk every day" streak which was going to hit two full years next month. My asthma says NO! thank you.
Thursday's Weather Rating: 1/10 Diabolical. Dense wildfire smoke is in place this morning, and will remain here all day long resulting in low visibility and terrible air quality. High temperatures reach into the mid 90s later, too. The vibes have vacated the area.
