This week we celebrate our studio's 20th anniversary and it's crazy lmao, it's hard to not think back to when we started and how young, immature and unexperienced I was, lmao. I've had rough patches, but I'm so grateful I was given the space to grow as an artist and as a person. Wild. 😭❤️⚡

Hey everyone! Giving a quick campaign update here and some info about the upcoming demo update! Currently we have roughly a week left until the end of the campaign, and we're just under $2600 short of our goal. Backers pledged about another 13% during the middle 15 days of the campaign, which I'm happy with considering the middle of all of the KS campaigns I've watched in the past has historically been drastically slower than the start and end. This leaves us with 37% left to raise in the last week.

To help us reach that goal, I have a lot planned this week, both in terms of promotion AND a new update to Flipside! Within the next few days I'll be releasing an update to the demo on itchio that will add 2 new shops to the game world: A duel accessory shop, and a clothing shop! These will only have a single type of cosmetic each at the moment since this is only their very first implementation, and there's still a lot of work to do to finish the rest, but it gives the player a small taste of the cosmetic choices that will be available in Brave Beginnings. And to be extra clear, these shops only use credits, the in-game currency, just like a typical RPG. There will be zero micro transactions in Brave Beginnings, and I have no plans to add them in any future chapters.

I had the incredible priviledge of being a guest at a TF convention in Shanghai along with Mr.Cullen, who I'd met 2 weeks prior at MTL comic con. Before I got on the stage for a Q&A, he said "You got this, Sara", and I literally replay this moment in my head every time I struggle. Thank you ❤️ 😭

I love my house but the stress of maintenance is hitting me hard lmao I feel like all I ever do on weekends is look for contractors for various work I can't do myself, wait for quotes, emails or phonecalls (while having no money) and I'm just fully unable to turn my brain off ever 8)) wowies

My kinesiology program has been getting easier to do (my squat went from 30-45 degrees to 90 :o) but I wasn't noticing how the improvement impacted my day to day life... and I just noticed my knees don't hurt when I sit down anymore so that's ??? huge??? Maybe I'm just having a good pain day lmao
