One of those weeks spent on a monster software install that depends on 9 separate libraries, all of which are somehow problematic. Incompatible with our compilers? Check! Needs obscure cmake flags present in the docs but don’t exist? Yep! Finally compiled at 4:55 pm. With that, let the week be done.
Coming back to work after the holidays, we’re immediately back into the swing of things. And by “we”, I mean this consistent HPC loaf.

Question: we’re currently hiring for a systems administrator position at our HPC center. Where are some good places to spread the word? We’ve posted the job listing with Campus Champions, but I’m curious if anyone has additional communities they’d recommend.
Had an amazing time at SC24 (as always!), but it's good to be back home in Tucson. Time to hit the mountains for some climbing and decompress before diving back into HPC business as usual.
