Finally watched Boy and the Heron. Its good. It feels like a movie that should've been a novel with too many ideas but its still a painfully beautiful experience. Like man does Miyazaki still got the eye for visuals.

the best point i made in my magical girl drama video is that while the take was dumb. The internet tendency to drag flawed female creators for having bad takes making them the face out outrage. Yet ignore bigger more malicious creators as they aren't as fun to dunk on.
One of the worst things to happen to humanity is developing the ability to treat fictional characters as real people and defend/attack them accordingly.
