What's up, #writingcommunity! I'm back! ^-^ July was A Month. My whole plan changed on the 1st, so instead of editing and plotting, I was considering job options. I'll have a new routine from Sep, details TBC, so I'll need to adjust to that, too. But, for now, I'm back :) How have you been?

The author used Claude to build the app, and that automatically makes it fruit from the poison tree. Not to mention that loading your work into it will more than likely feed genAI more. Don't do it. Don't use it.

My kid was prescribed puberty blockers to be who he is. To make sure that when puberty arrived, he'd grow in a body that fits him. His puberty blockers mean he doesnt have body dysphoria now, and he'll never need top surgery, and he's fucking HAPPY. That's what they want to avoid: happy trans ppl.

#writingcommunity How did your week go? Progress has been a bit slow on Esta 4 edits this week. I struggled to picture a new location for this book as I was writing it, so my descriptions in the first draft are inconsistent. I have a much better idea of it now, so next week should go smoother :)

I do sometimes, mostly when I'm exhausted after a long day and don't think I have the energy to do it all over again. I can't imagine not writing, though. Not to be sappy or anything, but I wouldn't feel complete without it, so that's that.
