Some of these groups that claim they "celebrate diversity" are really just looking for people from marginalized communities to perform for them by telling their tragic backstories. Stop bleeding out for groups that wouldn't even give you a band-aid.

Just saw who was selected for something I lost a few months ago, and it just re-affirms my belief that some of these groups don't actually give a fuck about your story, they just want to be entertained, exploit you, and then pat themselves on the back for "lifting you up". I'm so done.
Had a really good weekend/beginning of the week, followed by some really disappointing news of yet another opportunity lost. I'm grateful for all of the opportunities I've had so far, but it stings a little more when you REALLY want something and get SO close to it but it slips through your fingers.

You know, I used to really enjoy some drama/tea/gossip. Not being personally involved, but I loved hearing about it. Now I'm just like "ugh, this is exactly why I be staying at home/away from others" cuz that shit just sounds EXHAUSTING to me now.

Update: I've been selected to move on to the next round!!! I'M SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW. I can't say exactly what it is, but just know I'm so blown away, not just for having the honor of being submitted by my school, but being selected to keep moving forward. ONWARD AND UPWARD BABYYYYY

My first ever charity stream was an amazing success. Raised TWICE my original goal of $250. There are SO many of you to thank I can't even fit it, just know I'm so immensely thankful and humble for you all supporting a cause very dear to me 💕💕
