Here's the full look at John Boorman's landmark 1967 thriller POINT BLANK, which deconstructed Donald E. Westlake's novel THE HUNTER but somehow still manages to feel more faithful than any other version of the book -- and it looks simply smashing in Criterion's recent 4K rendition:

Time to see what all the fuss is about. I've never watched the Whole Bloody Bloodpecker version because I've never seen the point of it. It worked fine in two parts and the last thing it needs is to have even more footage added in. But I'm a sucker for cool special editions, so there you go.
