I’ve been reading Apple: the First 50 Years, and it makes me sad Steve Jobs never got to experience the M-series computers. I think they’re exactly what he’d been searching for his entire career.

A lot of times I come on here to complain, but there’s already so much negativity in the world, why am I adding to it? Instead, I hope everyone has had a great holiday season, and here’s to an amazing new year!

It’s sad to get an ad from the Southwest Airlines app promising “first checked bag free,” like it’s something special, rather than something that a month ago just was.

@microsoft.com Once again, I'm deleting the Microsoft AutoUpdate app off my Mac. I'm done with these meaningless daily updates. Get your act together. And don't give me any grief about "security." If your code is this full of security holes, maybe I need to uninstall Office altogether.

Years ago, the Pragmatic Programmer recommended I learn a new computer language every year. Two years ago it was #cpp. This year it was #elixir (and #phoenix). Even though I was laid off this year, it was a much better year.
