for as long as i've been alive, republicans have ran the same playbook: a few weeks before voting begins, they roll out completely fabricated smear campaigns. these things are always coordinated, so the talking points take over the news. the party is never electorally punished for their dishonesty.

happy coming out day, i wanted to share a zine i made a while back about being trans. for anyone out there who may need to hear it, i support you and see you for who you are. if you're cis & straight, the best thing you can do is stand up for your queer friends. treat them just like anyone else.

What a weird world we live in - Ukraine hits a data centre deep in Russia - Irish twitter users see racist posts about IPAS centres in Offaly fall off a cliff

And now the best part: Bot traffic from the #Yandex network has plunged to near zero following the strike on its Vladimir data center. Bot traffic includes automated requests from search crawlers, scrapers and other online services. Twitter must be a ghost town by now.

Some politicians are braver than others, have a stronger moral compass than others. Those are the ones who, like @annaluehrmann.eurosky.social (on @eurosky.social 💖!), work for their citizens rather than in submission to US adversaries.

I stand in solidarity with researchers at the #disinfo2026 conference. We need brave researchers and civil society in our fight against disinformation. EU institutions and governments should not cave under US pressure.
