looking into the free coding bootcamps again, seems like the landscape's changed a bit since I gave it a shot back in like 2022. i guess all the focus on AI means employers don't feel like they need to push down labor costs by flooding the market anymore so the free options have dwindled.

ah yeah, i saw a video going over this the other day. they made the argument that indie publishing and VC funds are pretty much the same structurally (making a lot of bets and eating lots of losses while hits carry them) and public markets are a really bad fit for that

I gotta move off Google Sheets man. It's been bad enough with the Gemini button cluttering up the UI but the ad on top of it is intolerable. Why would I want to generate fake numbers in the spreadsheet I use to balance my checkbook? Has anyone involved in this ever used a spreadsheet? Fuck this.
