Today, the federal government finalized a major change to the Endangered Species Act (ESA) to remove vital habitat protections for endangered species.

The formerly excellent Climate.gov, once a trusted source of climate information for the public, was effectively dismantled by the current U.S. administration in 2025. It has been resurrected by former staff as Climate.us, a nonprofit providing climate information free from political interference.
