In the CNI closing plenary, Harnessing the Data Renaissance for Scientific Discovery, Manish Parashar explores the role of democratizing access to #OpenData and shared #cyberinfrastructure in enabling equitable and responsible data use, and he introduces the vision of the National Data Platform.

Nina de Lacy, SCI affiliate faculty and a fellow in our One-U Responsible AI Initiative, worked with Utah Office of AI Policy's Zachary Boyd on a review of AI in mental health care. Their findings underscore both the promise of these AI tools and the urgency of regulating them thoughtfully.
