This is the stated goals, and makes note that they want Canada to give Bioware the funds to buy itself AND their IP back.

Petition to the Government of Canada
Whereas:

Canada's cultural exports are a fundamental part of our national identity and heritage;
Canada's national identity champions values of inclusivity, tolerance, democracy, justice, and civil rights;
BioWare is one of Canada's most important cultural exports to the world in the 21st century, selling tens of millions of units of their video games globally;
BioWare's productions champion the values of inclusivity, tolerance, democracy, justice, and civil rights that are at the centre of Canada's national identity;
BioWare has been shuttered by its American parent company Electronic Arts, now owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund and Jared Kushner's Affinity Partners; and
BioWare's closure represents an immense loss to and possibly a targeted attack on Canada's cultural legacy.

We, the undersigned, citizens and residents of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to:
1. Provide BioWare with the capital necessary to secure independence of themselves and their intellectual property from Electronic Arts and resume business as an independent, Canadian company;
2. Protect Canadian businesses and cultural institutions from being dictated by American and foreign corporate interests; and
3. Champion the values of inclusivity, tolerance, democracy, justice, and civil rights at the centre of Canada's national identity by preserving BioWare's invaluable contribution to the global entertainment industry.

This was linked to me, and Im curious what will happen so: 🍁CANADIANS🍁 There is a petition to save Bioware (and looks like in the future, other Canadian companies), and needs 500 signatures to be pushed into your House of Commons. www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/en...

She's a Veilguardian, Guardian of the Veil ELVEN GODS QUIVER BEFORE HER [ #DragonAge #Veilguard #DATV #Fanart #SciFiGGArt ]

ID: Digital art of a female elf from Dragon Age: The Veilguard. She's wearing the rogue variant of Grey Warden armor with cloth over her right shoulder looped around the braided belts that goes across her chestplate. She has very curly hair which is half done up into a bun at the top of her head, a golden circlet adorns her forehead tucked into braids that wrap from the front of her forehead and wrap around the back. She is in a fighting stance holding a two-pronged sword in her right hand and a glowing crystal dagger in her left that crosses in front of her chest. In the background are two glowing white silhouettes of dragons facing away from each other. /End ID

Designed a constellation skirt! This design includes both northern and southern hemisphere constellations, plus maybe a few… not-so-real ones! 🌟 #art

A close-up of Maya Kern’s constellation pattern featuring shimmering gold stars and dotted constellation lines scattered across a deep navy, blue, and purple galaxy-inspired background. A hand wearing a black drawing glove holds a stylus over the digital artwork, showing the design process.

Maya poses indoors wearing a navy blue pleated midi skirt covered in golden stars and constellations against a galaxy-inspired background. She pairs it with a white eyelet puff-sleeve blouse and black Mary Jane shoes. Her hands are tucked into the skirt’s pockets as she smiles and looks upward, standing on a colorful patterned rug in a cozy living room.

Something that @kalaelizabeth.bsky.social told me about, but there is a group of devs decompiling Dragon Age:Origins, and they are 60% done! Or tldr- makes it easier for someone to come in and make the game run on modern hardware properly! This is a huge deal!! www.reddit.com/r/DragonageO...

Flower cows! 🌼🐄 #art

A collection of cow illustrations against a background that resembles flowers blooming into the sky. The cows, nine in total, are enjoying flowers as well as wearing them, and are shown to be frolicking in the grass, as well as hanging out with butterfly friends. They're really enjoying the last sunrays of summer, how wonderful!

SciFi 🪕☄️@scifigirlgamez.bsky.social · 3mo ago

Pokemon Bank ending is so sad but it was inevitable. I shouldn't have been putting off transferring all my OGs from the GBA/DS systems for literal YEARS but I was also hoping I wouldn't need to go through the huge hassle. I don't wanna lose my first Pokemon ever to be stuck in time 😭

I will be okay. Not because everything is fine, but because I am surprisingly difficult to destroy. Says Skeletor who notices being hard to destroy sure doesn’t mean a bunch of asshoes don’t keep trying.
