Edinburgh's Living Streets & residents have consistently called for wider pavements along the project since 2019. While there are lots of examples down Leith Walk, the stretch outside Scotmid at Pilrig can & must be rectified & easiest to justify. Hopeful T&E cttee backs our call tomorrow 👇

Edinburgh Council Transport and Environment Committee meets on Thurs 12/12. A report confirms that there are 11 sections of Leith Walk pavement which don't meet the usual “absolute minimum” width specified for the street by the Council (2.5m).To read the report click here - tinyurl.com/leithless
