There is possibly no greater influence on me as a writer than Peter David. I would place his books on the bottom of my weekly comic hauls so I could save the best for last. Met him at a convention once & told him his name was a mark of quality for me & thanked him for untold hours of joy. RIP

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of comic book and sci-fi writer Peter David, who passed away last night following a long illness. Incredible Hulk, X-Factor, Star Trek...so many fond memories of him and his work.

I’ve now had my ‘I filmed a scene only to find that it was cut from the finished episode when it screened a year later’ experience. Sigh. Okay, I’m ready for my big break now. Never give up, but it would be nice to get *something* more than just a commercial.
