On this day in 1972 First article exposing the Watergate scandal by Bernstein and Woodward is published in The Washington Post. Evidently, all Nixon had to do was sexually assaulted minors and he’d be good to go.

The US Army was conducting a GPS jamming exercise that knocked out the guidance of a Medevac plane in New Mexico, resulting in a catastrophic crash. All four occupants died, two pilots and two medevac nurses. The Pentagon and US Army have yet to comment.
