New memoir by Zayd Ayers Dohrn is must read. Got a sense from Zayd’s phenomenal podcast Mother Country Radicals, which combines deep research w/dramatic storytelling. His brother Chesa (former SF DA) is key figure in story which drives home interconnection bet personal/political in profound way.

Seeing Loomer's call to keep Muslim Americans "safe" by deporting them recalls argument Earl Warren made for Japanese American mass incarceration in Feb. 1942. He said their presence in society would "unquestionably bring about race riots and prejudice and hysteria." 1/
