#Wildfire smoke is thick across #Seattle and the NW, and air quality is getting worse this evening in the Puget Sound area as smoke from Eastern Washington spreads west. But there may be a few periods of brief breaks in the smoke this week --> emeraldcityweather.com/wildfire-smo... #wawx

#Seattle is luckily about to dodge a massive and intense heat dome that is about to cover much of the rest of the West with 100+ to even 110+ degree heat. Here, we'll be in the 70s. But it comes at a potential great cost for Eastern Washington: emeraldcityweather.com/seattle-dodg... #wawx

Pretty cool chart from my Dad's home on the bluff/water in Port Angeles... you can see how the temp wildly bounces as the weak but cool breeze on on the Strait of Juan de Fuca passes by the backyard. (Yes it's in the low 60s there. Their backyard has to be 1 of the coldest spots in the U.S.) #wawx

The weather is going to be pretty darn nice for the next several days in #Seattle, with not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE days in a row of highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s range (and maybe a 6th?!?) emeraldcityweather.com/seattle-ente...
