This is Bontia daphnoides, a Caribbean & S. Florida species in a primarily Australian group. It used to be in the Myoporaceae, but that family is now reduced to the tribe Myoporeae within the Scrophulariaceae. This species has corky, water-dispersed fruits. #Scrophulariaceae #Botany 🌾🧪🌱
