Congratulations to Dr. Thomas Joiner recognized for the Florence Halpern Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Clinical Psychology. His groundbreaking research on suicide prevention has shaped the understanding, treatment, and prevention of suicidal behavior worldwide.

Our next recipient is Dr. Cornelius (Niel) Victor winner of the Theodore Blau Early Career Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Clinical Psychology! He helped develop Africa’s first practice guidelines for psychologists and evidence-based training programs for diverse communities.

We are excited to congratulate Dr. Alfonso Mercado, recipient of the Stanley Sue Award for Distinguished Contributions to Diversity in Clinical Psychology!
