The Indie Wiki Bot got flagged as spam on Bluesky. It's properly self-labeled as automated. Replies to Fandom links with indie wiki alternatives. Major wiki accounts follow it. Moderation reads "high-volume identical replies" and sees spam. The bot label is right there. Nobody's reading it.

Has been brought to my attention, this account was flagged for spam and posts are being suppressed/hidden. I will be reaching out to Bluesky support to see if there's an appeal or potential for this to be undone given it's become quite the resource for readers, wiki admins and people alike.

Hello Bluesky Moderation Team, I'm writing regarding the account @indiewiki.bsky.social (did:plc:h2nryq2ipsy6vblrp4un2tpb), which I was recently made aware had been flagged as spam by Bluesky moderation services. I would like to respectfully appeal this classification and provide additional context about the account and its purpose. The account is an automated bot that replies to posts containing Fandom links by suggesting independent wiki alternatives through the Indie Wiki Buddy project. The account is openly automated, uses Bluesky’s automated account labeling, and is intended as a community resource for helping users discover independently hosted wiki communities and information sources. In under two months, the account has become widely recognized within the wiki and preservation community, including being followed or acknowledged by major independent wiki projects and contributors. Minecraft Wiki Hytale Wiki GTA Wiki Grifkuba Community interactions and positive reception: Followed by massive accounts in the wiki scene (Minecraft Wiki, Hytale Wiki, GTA Wiki, Grifkuba) The bot is not intended to harass, mass-mention, deceive users, or distribute malicious/spam content. Its purpose is informational and community-oriented. If there are specific behavioral concerns, rate limits, or automation guidelines that need adjustment, I would be more than willing to work within those requirements to ensure compliance with Bluesky policies.
