Because the world isn't already figuratively on fire, I'm in the Pacific Northwest where the world is literally on fire. This happens every August, after a fashion, but this one feels different because of how many people I actually know who have been evacuated or lost their homes.

After playing through Baldur’s Gate 3 to completion six times, my wife decided to try the original Baldur’s Gate. On our way home tonight, she asked about THAC0. I’m hopeful she will recover from her rage induced coma soon. “DO I WANT LOW ARMOR CLASS OR HIGH?” was the last thing she said.

For me, “getting healthy” equates to “leaving the house” and I hate it. Had a “get off your screen” GenX moment because a guy was sitting at the machine we wanted to use for five minutes.

I'm not BIPOC, and tomorrow is Juneteenth; I'm fortunate enough to have an employee matching program on donations. I've been able to send $200 to the Carl Maxey Center which offers so much to the community which I hope will help with some of their administrative expenses at the very least.

ScreamingWyvern Weeknight Streaming is on hiatus for a bit. In the efforts to trend away from "Generic Middle-Aged GM" body, I was going to move to a Wednesday stream and now our personal trainer may be Saturdays, so Wednesday will work better... but taking some time to make sure that'll happen.
