Coming into today the Tigers' bullpen had 26 saves, and 27 blown saves. Make it 28. 112 Save Situations, 57 Holds. Now it's 113 and 57. So more than half the time the Tigers have had a lead, the Tigers bullpen has blown it. That just seems impossible in this day and age where everyone throws 96+

Here’s a photo of botched shells at the factory. They’re supposed to have perfectly smooth noses. Instead, a machine mangled the metal into something that looks like the swirl of soft-serve ice cream.
