me in my rocking chair @ fandom gen z: back in my day, the most problematic thing that happened was when you went to an anime con and a socially awkward girl hit you with a prop paddle that said "YAOI" on it, for no other reason than she enjoyed yaoi
if you want to know how serious this is, my work dad texted me saying "i'm team valko" with no other context.

Lads friends, watch out for weird accounts randomly following and trying to get close to you (comments, DMs). There are bots and weirdos trying to get into pro-Valko spaces to try and doxx us or take our content.

My biggest takeaway is that I feel extremely bad for everyone who’s worked on Valko. The writers, the artists, the voice actors. For the 4 vas it must be extremely bizarre. They landed the role, recorded everything for launch only to lose the job before the character came even out.
