Great ... should have started 30 years ago, with govt funding to upgrade as it became necessary. We could have been world leaders in the use & development of renewables, solar & wind, but progressive govts have kowtowed to the fossil fools heading up the fossil fuel 'gang' of environmental thugs.

That the best Albanese can do to protect the most vulnerable amongst us is 'brag' that his govt is going is to 'limit' gambling ads to one every 20 minutes is utterly deplorable! $31.5BILLION pa is handed over to these leaches. Support Pocock's & Chaney's push to make them do more & better.

Stop Gambling Ads

Australians lose around $31.5 billion a year to the gambling industry - the highest losses per person of any country in the world. Tell your MP to support a gambling ad ban.

Why would anyone trust a mining company's capacity (or willingness!) to 'self-report' credibly? They need to be publicly called out and made to apologise. If that means 'loss of face', well, bad luck, they should have behaved in line with our environmental guidelines - & expectations.

According to Environment Centre NT, Inpex had been under-reporting benzene and toluene emissions from its Ichthys LNG facility by more than 13,000% between 2019 and 2024 Read that again, under-reporting the emissions of toxic gases by >13,000% between 2019 an 2024 🤯

Gosh, my dad used to say, "If you never tell a lie, you'll never have to 'remember' the truth." And, kudos to Commissioner Bell reminding Ossip that she's the one who determines whether the Qs asked are in keeping with the Commission's parameters, not him. His presumptive arrogance is gobsmacking.

Caught giving false evidence, David Ossip tries dodging questions as Commr Bell demands he answer on his claim the Oct9 Opera House protest was held “before” Israel's military response. Toomey SC reveals Gaza was being hit by IDF airstrikes on Oct7.🙄 Another exposed witness.💥

We haven't done this to ourselves? Demanding more & more, and then some, more & more quickly because we've jammed so much into our schedules & then wonder why we're so stressed, so tired & so outta money. And, too, what we've done to the planet, to our only home. How are we 'right' to be angry?

Forget the ‘politics of joy’. Australians are rightfully getting angry

It’s not hard to see why the politics of grievance is flourishing in this environment. It has fertile ground. People are angry because it’s one of the only things they can still afford, and yet the ec...

Who'd have thought butterflies would be a threat, let alone those gentle souls who love them & want to protect them? How brutally sad and how stupidly unneccesary. RIP Homero Gómez González. You did good🦋 🕊️🙏🏼

Sad, 18 other environmental defenders were killed, too. The authorities had to admit it was murder because they were targeted. It wasn't coincidence. www.theguardian.com/world/2020/j...

"The leader of one of the world's most high-profile Jewish organisations says Australia faces a crucial test on how it tackles ... antisemitism ..." Colour me red, black, white & green but I'd have thought Jewish folk, those who haven't already, 'face a crucial test' on how not to be 'pro-genocide'

Why are we not screaming our heads off over this blatant gaslighting & smug hypocrisy when they know full well they're the primary cause of all the climate change issues we're facing that will decimate this magnificent planet & all of us. #WeAreNotAngryEnough #WeAreNowhereNearAngryEnough #GetAngry

Hope so. It means fewer data centres = less damage to the environment & to communities where they're built, less interference, less control & more focus on using our critical thinking skills, albeit with verified AI data & info, but with the operative word being 'our'. AI's merely an adjunct.
