A 24 year old male (P1), was driving a stolen 2026 white Lexus TX500h, while illegally evading Western
Division Patrol Officers, northbound in the #1 lane of 2000 San Diego Avenue. The driver lost control of the
vehicle and struck the west curb line of San Diego Avenue and a telephone pole. The male driver continued
northbound and struck the rear of a parked vehicle (V2). V2 was forced westwards and the male's vehicle
then struck the rear of V3. V3 struck V4 and V4 struck V5. All the vehicles were parked and unoccupied. The
male driver sustained a closed fracture to his right ankle and a fractured T-11 (spine). DUI was not a factor.
Traffic Division units responded and are investigating the collision.

Oceanview Boulevard. P1 did not stop prior to entering the intersection and struck P2’s vehicle. P1 fled the
scene and is unidentified. A passenger in P1’s vehicle suffered a fractured femur and fractured tibia/fibula.
P2 and his passenger suffered complaints of pain. No injuries were considered life-threatening. It is
unknown if DUI was a factor in this collision. San Diego Police Department Traffic Division will be handling

made a U-turn from eastbound to westbound 300 Sea World Drive, at the intersection with Sea World Way,
against a red turn arrow. As The 39-year-old male completed the U-turn, the 41-year-old male struck the
rear of the Camry. The 41-year-old male sustained brain bleeds in two locations and his injuries were
determined to be life threatening. Alcohol was not a factor in this collision. San Diego Police Department

year-old male. The 41-year-old male was transported to a local hospital where it was determined his injuries
were imminently life threatening. The 27-year-old male was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving

A 32 year old male (P2) was driving an unknown model Kia. He was stopped for a westbound red light at
Garnet Avenue at Mission Bay Drive. A 59 year old male (P1) was driving a Porche Cayman, westbound 2800
Garnet Avenue at a high rate of speed. The Porche impacted the rear of the Kia, The collision resulted in a
chain reaction, impacting a total of nine vehicles. The 32 year old male (P2), was transported to the hospital
where he was pronounced deceased. Three occupants of the other vehicles were also transported with
minor injuries. The 59 year old male (P1) was arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter at the scene. Alcohol
was not a factor. Traffic officers responded to the scene and are investigating the collision.

This description makes no sense to me. A cyclist and a motorist were traveling in the same direction in Grantville. Driver "saw the bicyclist coming at him" and swerved left, then the cyclist crashed into the right front of the car? Cyclist was hospitalized with leg and rib fractures. #VisionZero

6200 Rancho Mission Road. The driver saw the bicyclist coming at him and attempted to swerve to the left.
The bicyclist collided with the right front of the vehicle. The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital to be
treated for a fractured left femur, fractured ribs, and a fractured tibia. Traffic units responded and will be

A 64-year old female was driving a 2010 B.M.W. sport utility vehicle northbound on El Camino Real. For
reasons still under investigation the vehicle veered left into the southbound lanes and continued traveling
northbound. The vehicle drove over the west curb and proceeded up an embankment causing it to overturn,
coming to rest on its roof. The driver had to be extricated by S.D.F.D. firefighters. She was transported by
ambulance to a local hospital. The driver was pronounced deceased at the hospital. S.D.P.D. Traffic Division
responded and is handling the collision. At this point of the investigation DUI has not been determined.

A 27-year old male was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer eastbound on 5200 University Avenue at a high rate of
speed. The driver initiated a northbound turn onto 52nd Street, and collided with a traffic signal light pole.
A 26-year old female was sitting in the front passenger seat of the vehicle, and was not wearing a seatbelt.
Upon impact with the traffic signal light pole the passengers head struck the vehicle windshield. The
passenger was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. It was determined she sustained serious
head/neck injuries. The driver was evaluated and arrested for driving under the influence. S.D.P.D. Traffic
Division responded and is handling the investigation.

An SUV driver ran over a woman was laying on the ground in a shopping center parking lot in Lomita. The victim was knocked unconscious and suffered fractures to the spine and ribs, and collapsed lungs. She's expected to survive. #VisionZero

Mid-City Officers were investigating a serious injury collision at 50th St and El Cajon Blvd. Officers used
marked police vehicles with activated emergency lights to block both directions of El Cajon Blvd at 50th St. A
46-year old male was driving a Kia Soul eastbound on El Cajon Blvd approaching 50th St. The Kia made no
attempt to slow or respond to the road closure. The Kia collided with two marked police vehicles, and
continued into the collision scene. Two S.D.P.D. Sergeants were struck by the vehicle and sustained minor
injuries. The driver of the Kia was arrested for felony driving under the influence. S.D.P.D. Traffic Division
responded and is investigating the collision.

Police are asking for help finding the driver of a white car, possibly a Chevy Malibu, who struck and seriously injured a woman as she attempted to cross El Cajon Boulevard in El Cerrito last October, then fled the scene. #VisionZero

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police
Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and
locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a traffic collision leaving a
pedestrian with major injuries in the El Cerrito area of San Diego.
On October 6, 2025, at 8:06 p.m., an adult female pedestrian was walking across the
5700 block of El Cajon Blvd., in San Diego. A vehicle was traveling eastbound on El
Cajon Blvd. in the number two lane. The vehicle struck the pedestrian, knocking her
to the ground. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene without
calling 911 or rendering first aid. The vehicle was last seen driving eastbound on El
Cajon Blvd.
The pedestrian suffered several head injuries and was transported to a local hospital
for medical treatment. The injuries were not considered life threatening.

Suspect’s Vehicle Description:
The suspect’s vehicle is described as being similar to a newer model Chevy Malibu
with possible minor damage to its front passenger side corner.

driver struck the right side of bicyclist with the front of his vehicle. The bicyclist suffered multiple broken

eastbound lanes and collided with the south curb and guard rail. P1 rotated and traveled across all the lanes
colliding with the north curbline. The left side of the vehicle collided with a tree, causing it to overturn onto
its left side and ejecting the female. The female was transported to the hospital with a fractured jaw,
fractured left humerus, lacerated liver and spleen, and multiple other injuries. DUI is not considered a
