Coming to a pocket near you! So much beautiful work in all the announcements today.
Great seeing you all at the Amsterdam edition of “Let’s talk Liquid Glass” today! Epic venue and great talks.
Some big personal news: I’ve joined the Design Team at Apple. So excited to work with the very best team in the world on my favorite products. ✌️
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten greater validation of my work on apps that make capturing genuine photos and videos easier than this. What a bleak world it would be if everything you consume is just machine generated slop.
The social app Sora will let users generate videos of themselves and their friends, which they can share in a TikTok-like feed.
We’ve got some really cool updates out now, and soon — check out all our latest (and stay tuned for the iPhone camera review!)
Aesthetic of the winning NYC ticket. Regardless of how you feel about the politics, it’s all content with warm film style color grading and friendly type. Stuff with soul. Total vibe grade. Other stuff looks fake and sterile.
We’ve got a great Kino update out today — bringing highly-requested Creator Tools like Audio Control (set any microphone automatically or manually, including iPhone mic configs), expanded storage options, precise geotagging and more. It’s such a fun job to build a perfect, simple video camera. 🥰
this is not a relevant or timely tweet but a thing that boggles my mind sometimes is that united and continental merged in 2010 and they kept the united name but used continental's clip art-ass logo that was dated even back then and have never changed it since
Always fun hanging with @stalman.bsky.social and @sdw.bsky.social chatting about the WWDC announcements! www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJJB...

not a cell phone in sight. just people living in the moment
Fully addicted to taking iPhone pics through my airplane window
Thinking of the people in Apple marketing today that are just absolutely thrilled this shit is going down today rather than Monday
I would not be mad if this kind of living-glass-like design language would be called ‘Aqua’ again. It’s only fitting.
I wrote some words and made some renders on what the New Design Language of iOS, iPadOS and macOS might be. Physicality: The new age of UI. www.lux.camera/physicality-...

Physicality: the new age of UI
There’s a lot of rumors of a big impending UI redesign from Apple. Let’s imagine what’s (or what could be) next for the design of iPhones, Macs and iPads.

It’s a rare, fun time when you still have no idea what’s next for the iOS / macOS / iPadOS UI. I’m publishing a post tomorrow to imagine what the thinking might be behind an all-new UI style, and what it might look like. A preview:
I made an Apple Maps guide of some of my favorite Bay Area (well, mostly SF) spots for those in town for WWDC!

My daughter has invented a new thing: baby bunnies can go in her baby carrier
My sweet girl is two! What an incredible path she’s led me on in fatherhood — and what a privilege it is to be her dad. Happy birthday, Margo.
Had a fantastic time at #iOSKonf25 in Macedonia this week - met so many cool people and saw some great talks. Thanks, everyone!

What is HDR, anyway?
It's not you. HDR confuses tons of people. In this post, we finally explain what HDR actually means, the problem it presents, and three ways to solve it.
