#BHAFC's two home pre-season games are against AS Roma and Bologna. A 48-page programme covers both games, with features on the opposition, a look back at pre-season so far and interviews with two of our new signings. Great to see Albion's commitment to the printed programme seagullsprogrammes.co.uk
On this day 2005, #BHAFC draw 1-1 with #dcfc at pride Park in The Championship. Dean Hammond scores the Albion goal, watched by 1,751 travelling fans in the 25,292 crowd. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/200506
It's hard to believe that it's 15 YEARS since The Amex hosted its first ever league fixture. #BHAFC welcomed #drfc for a Championship fixture and it really was the stuff of dreams, from the build-up to Will Buckley's late goals that won the game. What. A. Day. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/201112
On this day 2013, a crazy Capital One Cup 1st round tie at The Amex, which finished 3-1 to #newportcounty aet. Inigo Calderon was sent off after a tackle that broke Byron Anthony's leg (the red card was rescinded 2 days later) and it clearly upset #BHAFC's rhythm. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/201314
On this day 1977, with #BHAFC about to embark on a Division Two campaign, #WWFC are the visitors to The Goldstone for a pre-season game. Peter Ward scored the only goal of the game, and punters went home with a 4-page programme, costing 5p. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/197778
On this day 1979, #BHAFC are in The Netherlands ahead of our very first top-flight campaign. The opponents are an East German Olympic XI and a curious, leaflet-like programme was issued for the game, which Albion lost 2-0. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/197980
On this day 2004, #BHAFC are in pre-season action at Roots Hall, playing #southendunited. The hosts issued a 16-pager for the game. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/200405
On this day 2001, the infamous 'Battle of Longford'. #BHAFC were on an Irish tour and had played Sligo Rovers 2 days before. Tackles were flying in and the game was abandoned after a huge brawl. There is a brilliant account of what happened at bit.ly/4wCPLEM
On this day 1994, #BHAFC travel to Ireland to play Shelbourne, in a testimonial for Bobby Browne. The hosts issued a 24-page programme for the game. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/199495

On this day 2011, #BHAFC continue the warm-up to our first season at The Amex, with a trip to Portugal and a friendly against SC Olhanense. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/201112
On this day 2005, #BHAFC played #ColU in a pre-season friendly. Despite leading 2-1 at half-time, thanks to goals from Leon Knight and Colin Kazim-Richards, a collapse in the last half hour saw us lose 5-2. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/200506
On this day 6 years ago, #BHAFC played their 2nd home lockdown fixture at The Amex. An empty stadium witnessed a 3-0 defeat to #MUFC, a result that leaves us 15th in the #PremierLeague table. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/201920
I would have nominated Peter Ward as the next Dr Who if I'd seen that card in 1980.
Just added some more #BHAFC cigarette cards to the website. The cards date back to 1906 and are fascinating. Check out the artwork on the 1980 Sun Soccer Cards! bit.ly/4o5qsrz
The @officialbhafc.bsky.social programme cover this season is a glorious celebration of our history. #BHAFC started issuing programmes in 1905 and they have been part of the matchday experience ever since. You can buy them at bit.ly/49bQaVl
One of my most treasured pieces. As a 10-year-old, the 1970 World Cup was the first one I really remember. I religiously filled in the details in the official programme and I've had it ever since, complete with my Primary School handwriting. Read it here bit.ly/4uRxdQ6
More from my 'random box of football stuff'. This is 'Football League Review - 1981/82' a monster 108-page magazine covering all 92 clubs, with club, squad and fixture details. Read it in full here bit.ly/4tM3FCA #BHAFC
'Here it comes again, chugging like a train Round and round, an impeccable groove' - 'Hot Water' by Level 42 (1984) - 📷 Carlisle, England, 1967, taken by Trevor Ermel
From the golden age of football magazines, here is a Charles Buchan's Football Monthly supplement from Sep 1967. Results from 66/67 and the coming season's fixtures. No TV changes back then! Brilliant stuff. I lapped this stuff up when I was a boy
Going through some random stuff and found 'Soccer Review' magazine, a review of the 69/70 season, 60 pages of features, interviews, great pictures and statistics from a season that I remember well. Look closely and #BHAFC are mentioned. Read it all here bit.ly/4fuxELx
In May 1951, the Festival of Britain was in full swing and as part of the celebrations, #BHAFC played 3 friendlies at The Goldstone, including this one, against #AyrUnited. Albion won 5-1, with goals from Jimmy McNichol, Ray Garbutt (2), Frankie Howard and Jess Willard.
Fifteen full scans of 'Nationwide Review' now uploaded to the website. A short-lived programme insert from March 1997 - May 1998, trying to recreate the magic of the Football League Review. See them at seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/flr-nationwi...
On this day 1991, #BHAFC thrash #Millwall 4-1 in the first leg of the Division Two play-off semi-final. Watched by a crowd of 15,390 at The Goldstone, Albion's goals are scored by Mark Barham, Mike Small, Clive Walker and Robert Codner. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/199091
On this day 2024, #BHAFC lose 2-0 to #MUFC at The Amex, a result that means we finish the season 11th in the #PremierLeague table. 31,662 are there. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/202324
A year ago today, another special evening at The Amex, as champions #LFC are beaten 3-2 in the #PremierLeague. The crowd of 31,611 sees goals from Jasin Ayari, Kaoru Mitoma and Jack Hinshelwood, as Albion stay 8th in the table. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/202425
