I am excited to announce that you can now enable Logger Buffering in Powertools for AWS Lambda Python and TypeScript. This is useful when you want to reduce the number of log messages emitted while still having detailed logs when needed, such as when troubleshooting issues. 🧵

It's ironic that when AWS finally releases a serverless Aurora they don't call it serverless, huh? Reinforces that everything with "serverless" in the name isn't actually serverless
First impressions of Aurora DSQL: There's a some features missing in the preview, ex. no foreign keys, no extensions, no autoincrementing ids, etc so it likely won't be a great target to migrate existing apps to initially at least.

For the absolute majority of companies, the 90% cost savings is going to come from dumping K8s for Serverless, not the other way around. You are not Prime Video.
