So why is the Bluesky proxy now showing the media here? Is this a bug? The source is v.nostr.build/XQtqj1pvrwQv... and can be requested by anyone. Is Bluesky only embedding media hosted on their infra?

Where can I follow development topics around ATproto?

💯💯💯 This resonates. There is still quite some work to be done to make things more open and so portable. One of the reasons why I work with the most open protocol / network which also bridges to ATproto and ActivityPub. To keep things the most open and portable, you need simplicity.

This is a good take on Bluesky and Jack's support of and then leaving it. I think @mmasnick.bsky.social is a bit harsh on Nostr, but then again, I'm the person trying to both make the easy to use client, and develop composable moderation on Nostr.
