The Lagoon Layer theme is one of the greatest pieces of video game music ever written/performed.
I have never been at such a loss for a game to play. Nothing I “want” to play sounds fun right now.
Headcanon is that some of the bananas lying around in DKC are ones that fell out of Dozy’s tree while he was sleeping.
Sometimes I get frustrated with myself that I can’t enjoy more games. I will literally dislike something as trivial as a character’s run animation or something and will write the whole game off unless I’m able to force myself to give it a chance to prove itself otherwise.
I was in Florida last year and went to a primate sanctuary. I saw this capuchin eating some fruit, and it was using its curled-up tail on the ground as a plate so its food didn’t get dirty. I think about it so often.
For the love of physical games and knowing that I can enjoy them for years to come.
