I had my first geology dream in a long time last night. In it, I found amphibian trace fossils in a metamorphic schist and thought about how many citations I'd get once I published it. Then I realized they were modern traces on a mud layer atop the schist. I hate stupid self-rationalized dreams.

I finally had a chance to watch the movie version of the musical Come From Away on Apple TV. Brilliant. Despite the terrible event that it portrays, the musical reminded me of all of the positives I experienced while I lived on the rock doing my MS degree at Memorial.

I was going to post my opinion of the 5 best scify series remakes but can only think of 4. In order from best to least best... 1) Battlestar Galactica (2000's vs 1970s) 2) Stargate SGI (from the movie Stargate) 3) Lost in Space (2018 vs 1960s) 4) Star Trek TNG (1980/90s vs 1960's) 5) ?
