I make tabletop RPG stuff. The most popular thing I've made has been Procedures to Discover the Path Ahead. mastodon: https://dice.camp/@seedling mailing list: https://buttondown.email/seedling website: https://seedlinggames.com

now that I think about it, I play both OSR and story games, and both have been similarly deadly unless the game explicitly doesn't have character death (I haven't actually played that much Mothership, I do tend to play more Cairn-type games though)

I surveyed 200 players and learned that most OSR games fall into two tiers of lethality - Meatgrinder and Picaresque. Table culture determines lethality more than system or campaign length. valerialoves.com/how-deadly-i...

what should I use to host a wiki It will be small, visible on the internet, have a relatively small number of editors I would be willing to pay a small amount of money to have it be ad free I would prefer it not to be a ton of work to do

One big effect that being part of online ttrpg communities has had on me is running much fewer games, because I started worrying if I was doing a good enough job, something I never worried about when it was just me and some friends and some books, and it became a little stressful

I've played TTRPGs for a lot longer but I've been talking about them online and occasionally publishing things since 2020. It's been long enough to see people come and go but not nearly as long as some people. I've never been terribly successful but I have been around.

getting ready to print The Sierra Express via Mixam I really like getting a box of physical copies to send out, but it's sort of feeling increasingly impractical. Especially with international shipping. I think probably I'll do Lulu in the future

I made a website for converting CSVs into tables! (kinda) I was getting annoyed trying to import 810 rows into Affinity and figured this would have been more worth the time and effort instead. Use case is mostly for tables that are ungodly long. deer.stream/CSV2Tables/
