Witch Hazel's costume is Fear Style, a cosplay of Fear from Block Tales.

Olive Pit's costume is Party Style, consisting of two cyan balloons and one yellow balloon coming out of their pit hole. It's a reference to Pinkie Pie's cutie mark from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

Gum Nut's costume is Derpy Hooves Style, a cosplay of Derpy Hooves from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

Rhythm Tengoku is the first game of the Rhythm Heaven franchise, and Horse Machine is one of its Rhythm Items. The gameplay consists of following a specific rhythm pattern input, so that the horse can move forward. This rhythm gradually builds up to be faster for harder difficulty, and the horse stops moving if the player misplaces their inputs.

Rarity is one of the Mane Six in the fourth generation of My Little Pony. She is a white unicorn with purple wavy hair and a cutie mark on her flank, consisting of three diamonds. It looks like she struggles to keep up with the galloping rhythm here.
