We’d always try to get to the games early so we could hang by the bullpen while Adley warmed up with whoever was starting. This is from a few weeks ago, in June. I’ll likely try to catch the BoSox in Seattle sometime, too. I’ll be rooting for Adley Rutschman forever. #birdland

Gunnar’s response speaks volumes. I also want to point out that multiple players blamed themselves for not doing enough to win games, which would have kept players here (maybe). Players are showing emotion and accountability, while Alby/Elias just gaslight.

I’ve just received a poetry book from a publishing house that my manuscript is, as of this moment, still actively in the running for a book award. Is this normal? I am… confused.

This team would be (possibly well) over .500 with a compotent manager leading the clubhouse. This quote is yet another example that Albernaz and Elias have zero clue about how to lead, inspire, or fire up their team or fans.

Mike Elias has zero class, and apparently zero clue that he has been in control of this roster for nearly a decade. He’s now gaslighting an entire fanbase by say he “didn’t dismantle the team” in response to him trading the beating heart of said team.

The Orioles will now lean on Samuel Basallo, but who does Sammy get to lean on? A clueless manager? A horrendous GM? An owner who doesn’t seem to care? We need a clean sweep of firings, immediately.

As a fan for 30 years, I have never been more disappointed in how this org has mismanaged the talent in the clubhouse. Even during the down years, they did the best they could. Buck eventually showed us the way. Elias? He’s proven with this trade that he’a failed miserably. Again. Gutted.

Not sure my fandom heart could handle Adley being dealt during the same week that Eddie Howe resigned from Newcastle. But here we are. #nufc #orioles

We’re in the endgame now. And all of the fanbase deserves to be livid.

I find the 2026 Dodgers unimposing. I think the Brewers can beat them in a best-of-7 even with Skubal. But just as importantly, this is a window. The Dodgers are making the most of their window. Good for them. It IS gonna get ugly for them soon. Be chill.

In discussing writing practices last week, I was shocked that I was the only one who said that I write within the chaos of the days schedule. Most others spoke of “getting away” to write, or having a “writers room.”

Would be very cool if we could swing at strikes and lay off others, aye? All the chances in the world and the Orioles just keep letting Baz down.

BOYHOOD is an achievement of grand proportions because Linklater and co created a world in which we see the characters grow/evolve in real time. We literally witness this on screen, within the story, with the same actors. AND it’s gorgeous storytelling. Anyone saying otherwise is a doughnut.
